Real pricing · It's Kooler with a K

Real ranges. What's included. No phone games.

Most garage door sites either hide the numbers or hand you a fake calculator. Here are the ranges we actually charge, pulled straight from our internal pricing reference. The binding price comes from your Kraftsman's Door Score on-site — no surprises, no shortcuts, no stress.

The Kooler promise

What you're paying for at Kooler

What cheap bids leave out.

The cheapest bid in the category leaves out what's expensive to deliver. These four are non-negotiable at Kooler — same Kraftsman, same standard, every door.

Certified Kraftsmen

Every Kraftsman trained the Kooler way, certified on the equipment they install, and tested against the Door Score before going solo. Accredited Door Dealer through IDA.

Background-checked

Everyone we send to your home has already been trusted in ours. Background check on every Kraftsman — that's the agreement, in writing.

Licensed, insured, tax-current

Legitimate business with the paperwork to prove it. Local and family owned, Grand Junction-based, A+ BBB. Not a handshake operation.

Guarantee never expires

The Kraftsman's guarantee on Kooler work doesn't have a clock on it. If something we touched breaks the way we installed it, we come back. Period.

Why we publish prices

Most pricing pages are funnels. This one isn't.

Walk through the garage door category online and you'll find two patterns. Either there's no price anywhere — every link goes to a form. Or there's a "calculator" that asks you for your trade, your zip, and your email before showing a number that's still wrong.

Neither is transparency. Both are lead capture wearing a price-tag costume.

We've been there. One broken thing can make it feel like everything is falling apart — and the last thing you need is a contractor wasting your time. So here's our version: the ranges we actually charge for the most common jobs, pulled straight from the ServiceTitan Proposal Templates our Kraftsmen quote from on-site, what drives the spread inside each one, and what's included in every Kooler service whether you spend $185 on a tune-up or close to $10K on a Kooler 200 double with a Krown warranty. The price your Kraftsman quotes on-site is binding — it comes from the Door Score, not from a form you filled out at midnight.

Everyone we send to your home has already been trusted in ours. If we wouldn't send them to our own house, we won't send them to yours.

The Door Score

How we get to the binding number.

Kooler's Motorized Door Analysis — a structured on-site assessment your Kraftsman runs before any work starts. Same form, every door, every visit. The Door Score sets the price.

You see the findings. You see the Good / Better / Best options that match what the door actually needs. No surprise add-ons mid-job, no "well, while I was in there." Just the door, the data, and the call you want to make.

Brand, build, and how connected you want it. The Kooler Sentinel and Sentinel 360 are the connected belt-drive operators: myQ app, Security+ 3.0, built-in camera, battery backup — the 360 steps up to 1¼ HP, a 360° camera with 2,000-lumen Corner-to-Corner lighting, and a lifetime motor-and-belt warranty. The Kooler Prodigy 3 is the wall-mount that frees your ceiling, deadbolts itself on every close, and runs Security+ 2.0. From there it's horsepower, door height (7-ft vs 8-ft), and how much smart-connect tech you stack on. We install and warranty every one.

New door tiers

Door tier × Members Plus warranty.

For full replacements, you pick a door tier (Kooler 200 · Kooler 138 · Economic · Non-insulated), then choose how much warranty you want behind it (Krown · Kommand · Krew). The door sets the look and the insulation; the Members Plus warranty sets the parts, the cycle-life, and how long it outlives the standard. Your Kraftsman walks the matrix on-site after the Door Score finds the right starting tier for your opening.

Where most homeowners land

Better insulation, quieter, longer life — without reaching for the top of either ladder. It's the combination most replacements settle on, and it's the one we'd put on our own homes.

Common questions

Things people ask before they call.

Why ranges and not a single price? +
Two doors with the same problem can be totally different jobs. One has the original springs from 2008, rust on the cables, and a drum that's about to walk off the shaft. The other was serviced 14 months ago and just needs the spring. Honest pricing means we look at the door, not a checkbox.
What's the Door Score? +
It's Kooler's motorized door analysis — a structured on-site read of spring health, cable wear, balance, opener strength, and seal integrity. Your Kraftsman runs it before any work starts, walks you through the findings, and presents Good / Better / Best options. The Door Score is what makes the on-site price binding.
Will my final price be higher than the range here? +
Rarely. The ranges above cover the vast majority of jobs in their category, pulled straight from our internal pricing reference. The exceptions are commercial doors, custom wood or full-view glass, and openings that need structural work. If your job lands outside the range, your Kraftsman will tell you why before any work happens.
Do you charge to come out? +
No diagnostic fee for service calls. The Kraftsman comes out, runs your Door Score, and presents your options — no obligation, no truck-roll fee.
Why don't you have a price calculator? +
We thought hard about it. A calculator that asks for your inputs and spits out a number psychologically reads as a quote — and a quote we made without seeing your door is dishonest. Worse, it sets you up to be surprised on-site. We'd rather show you the real ranges, explain what drives them, and let your Kraftsman do the actual diagnosis. That's the honest version of transparency.
Cheaper bids out there — why pay Kooler more? +
Cheapest bids leave out what's expensive to deliver — certification, background checks, the Door Score on every visit, quality parts, a guarantee that never expires, and a Kraftsman who shows up when promised. We're not the cheapest. We're the one you don't have to call back.
What about the Golden Key Membership? +
The Golden Key Club is our garage-door membership: $128 a year or $15.98 a month. Every member gets priority scheduling, the annual Kooler Cares tune-up, no trip or diagnostic fee, members-only repair pricing, a K Kap safety check, and front-of-line emergency response. A loyalty ladder stacks a real hardware upgrade on every year you stay, plus up to $50 a year in Kooler Credit toward a new door. See the full breakdown on the Golden Key Club page.
What does "We Got You" actually mean? +
It's the Kooler promise — and the name of the AI assistant who answers our phones. We Got You means we pick up, we show up, we walk you through it, and we stand behind the work. From the call before, through the Door Score on-site, to the call after. The agreement is simple: if we wouldn't send a Kraftsman to our own home, we won't send one to yours.
We Got You

Ready for your Door Score?
