Accessibility Statement
Kooler Garage Doors is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe every homeowner on the Western Slope deserves an equal, dignified experience when they come to us online — and we treat digital accessibility as part of the Kraftsman standard, not an afterthought. We Got You.
Our Standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities — including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities — and more usable for everyone. We also work to meet our obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and applicable state accessibility laws, including the laws of the State of Colorado.
What We've Done
We have built and continue to maintain this website with accessibility in mind. Measures include:
- Color and contrast — body text, links, and interactive controls are checked against the WCAG AA contrast ratio (at least 4.5:1 for normal text), and our brand orange is routed to an accessible deeper shade wherever it appears as text or buttons on light backgrounds.
- Keyboard access — the site can be navigated with a keyboard, every interactive element shows a clearly visible focus indicator, and a "Skip to main content" link lets keyboard and screen-reader users bypass the navigation.
- Screen-reader support — pages use semantic landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer), a single clear page heading structure, descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and accessible names on buttons, menus, and icons.
- Responsive and readable — layouts reflow on phones, tablets, and desktops, text can be resized, and touch targets on mobile meet recommended minimum sizes.
- Reduced motion — we honor the operating-system "reduce motion" setting and minimize non-essential animation for visitors who prefer it.
Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is an ongoing commitment, not a one-time checkbox. We review new pages and features as we add them and work to fix issues as we find them. Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible — we appreciate your patience and your help in pointing it out.
Third-Party Content
Some features on our site are provided by third parties — for example, our online booking widget (powered by ServiceTitan) and our chat assistant. We choose vendors that take accessibility seriously, but we do not control the code of these embedded tools. If you have trouble using any third-party feature, please contact us using the details below and we will help you complete your request another way — by phone, email, or in person.

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you run into a barrier, please tell us what happened, the page you were on, and the device or assistive technology you were using. We take every report seriously and aim to respond within five business days. Your feedback helps us make the site better for everyone.
Formal Conformance Note
This statement reflects our good-faith effort and current target of WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance. It does not constitute a legal warranty of conformance to any particular standard. We continue to test, fix, and improve.
